Johns Automotive Care has done services on a couple of my vehicles. From oil changes, alignments, diagnosing oil leaks,trying to figure out "mystery" noises etc. John, Brian, Chris and Brenda's service is amazing, Very trustworthy and competitive. For example I kept talking to Brian about my 66 Lincoln and how much work it needed. I thought it had major issues because of all the oil that was leaking. Come to find out it was nothing but a power steering leak that they remedied in a couple days. Finding parts for this car is very difficult so the turn around was impressive. I received a call from Brian saying the car was ready. I asked him how much the bill was and i was like "WHAT, thats it?!" I was expecting hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Johns crew are thorough and professional. An automotive service jewel.

Bryan at John's Automotive is great- most importantly he is honest! I have brought my autos there for a number of years now. They have always done a great job and have even recommended that I HOLD OFF on work until later. With past auto service shops (especially dealerships-ugh!) I dreaded taking in my cars for an oil change because I knew they would try to scare me & try to sell me stuff I didn't need. This never happens at John's Automotive & the work has always been safe & great!

I cannot say enough about these guys. My "Uncle" (family friend) started working for this place awhile ago and if he gives the thumbs up....you know it is a good place. He is now retired but our whole family still goes to John's. I just had to take my car in for my 60k and turns out I was due for 3 other BIG ticket items. Fun. Brakes, tires, and rotors to top it all off. I knew it would be a costly job, but they did whatever they could to make it less painful. Go to these guys....and know they they will make your car safe, and not try to add on extra costs and things you dont need. It's a pain to drive from Eastlake to Mission Gorge, but I trust them completely. Now how many people do you know can say that about their car shop?? I was referred to John's Automotive by a business friend. Having a car that is only 2.5 years old it shouldn't need much of anything but I drive a whole lot! I needed a place where I could trust the people to be honest and quick. Not only was the staff great to deal with but they were fast and my repair was economical too! I will definitely be sending anyone I know to them and I will also be returning anytime I need car repairs or maintenance.

Johns Automotive is the ONLY place I will take my car too! I trust the mechanics that they really care about the quality of my car and will do anything in there power to keep it running smoothly, never have I had any issues with anyone or anything there!!! the staff is so friendly and make me feel comfortable in their environment with snacks, drinks, and conversation and about the service going into my car. Seriously the best place in town!!

One of the most friendly mechanic stores I have ever shown up to. I had an unexpected problem with my car and the tow truck that came to give me a lift recommended this shop. I am always very skeptical when dealing with a new mechanic because of numerous bad experiences, but this place seems legit. Unfortunately I did not have my car fixed because the damage was extensive, but Bryan was very upfront with his assessment, which was not one I wanted to hear, but I still appreciated it. After showing pictures and talking about the damage with a few mechanics I know well, his assessment was accurately corroborated too. Because I was clearly car-less they even offered me a ride home. What's more, they also have not asked me to pay a storage fee for the ~48hours that the car is being stored there, until I get rid of it, which I was dreading and expect the more shady establishments to jump on. I highly recommend going here for quality and friendly service.

This is the only place I allow to work on my 1979 Firebird. The staff and mechanices here are great and you can't ask for friendlier service. The front desk people are always mindful of cost and tell you the truth about what your car needs or if something can wait. There's no hard sell and they'll also take you to your work or home in their JAC kickabout. Can't praise these guys enough.

I have been a customer of Johns Automotive for over 10 years and I have always been extremely satisfied with the job they do. I always feel that they have my best interest in mind. They never try to "sell me" on a service. They are always honest, on time and give me various options.
