I never write reviews for anything and I think this is truly needed. For anyone else who gets major anxiety taking their car in, this place is seriously where you need to go. They even have a shuttle you can take M-F (if you're within a certain mile range) which helped so much. I went in for an oil change and brake inspection last week. This week I went in so they could diagnose a few other issues I've been having. Aaron called me multiple times throughout last week and this week every step of the way on what the mechanic found. He seriously explained things so well to me. As someone who is not super well versed in cars I cannot tell you how much that helped. They didn't do any work on my car until I understood what was going on and I said it was okay. I ended up needing extensive and expensive work to be done that may not be worth it. Aaron called me to discuss it and was even willing to talk to my brother about it too (I wanted a second set of ears) which I truly appreciate. Although I need more work, the breaks do work great now. After both services they emailed me a very detailed and extensive report including pictures with arrows that point to what they explained to me. The report also has pictures of any damage on your car and then three categories - things they checked that are okay, things that may need attention soon, and things that need attention now. They even wrote a narrative note with pictures of the issues they found the past two days. My brother and dad work on cars themselves (out of state unfortunately) and even they were very impressed with how thorough they were. From their standpoint too the pricing was actually very reasonable. I can't thank Aaron enough for taking the time and multiple phone calls explaining everything and to the mechanics who worked on my car - Jose L and Ben D

Saturday morning - and I’m not at home in Bradenton - I’m here visiting but I was able to find this amazing auto repair location - Aaron answered the phone. I described an issue and he offered advice and said bring it over and he and his team would look things over. They did and solved the issue. Not only are they extremely courteous but their waiting room is comfortable - they offer coffee and snacks and they saved me a lot of money. 5 stars to John’s Automotive. Aaron said they can fix just about anything except Saabs. Sure glad I don’t home a Saab. My other car is at home in Bradenton - it’s a Honda Pilot - Im thinking I’ll have them check that out too.

Service could not have been better.

Was terrible. I got quoted first $750 to change a bulb. That changed when I caught them at it. Then they quoted me $1600 to install a catalytic converter but a few hours later doubled the price. Told me half the lights in my dash didn’t work. They work fine. They are LEDs and don’t show up very well in the daytime. They lost my trust and won’t go back.

Due to a miscommunication or a misunderstanding I left a bad review before. I would like to retract that review. Brian called me and asked me about it and I talked with him and we straightened everything out. Even though John’s will not be doing the repairs, he found someone who could replace my catalytic converter at a great price. He did not have to do this and my trust is restored. I respect a business that does what Brian did and highly recommend John’s..Thank you Brian for reaching out.

From the very first phone call I felt well taken care of. They were very kind and treated me like I have been coming there for years which is very important to me because I just moved to the area and I was very nervous about going to a new place. The kindness and professiolism I experienced here is rarely matched and I appreciate them very much. Shout out to Neil and Dave for being top notch gentlemen. I'm so happy I found this place for my Mercedes Benz. I KNOW the dealership would have charged me more than double. My repair was extremely specialized and very few shops outside the dealership could have done this repair. This place spent a lot if time and money to be able to offer their services for the price!! Robert & Cameron at John's Automotive Care were kind, friendly, courteous and efficient. My car has an bumper collision issue and they repaired it in a record amount of time. They figured out an expensive fix to my problem and I was in and out of their garage within an hour. And the price was right!
