Quoted variable cost based on the age of the vehicle and doesn’t install customer supplied parts. Weird and slightly shading quoting tactics

Stephen, Thank you for giving us your feedback about your recent phone call to our shop. I am sorry that we were unable to help you the way that you had hoped. We gave you straight up, honest answers about not being able to install parts that you supply as that creates too much liability if the part fails and we are also not able to warranty the job which in our eyes is not good for either of us. We were unable to give you a quote of any kind since we would need to see the vehicle for us to know what was needed to complete the job correctly. I am sorry that you were upset with the fact that we couldn’t help you out, but we are always upfront with what we can and cannot do.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They patiently take the time to answer my questions. After hours drop-off and pick-up is easy. These good folks know cars. I have trusted them for 6+ years, and John's Automotive has never disappointed.

Up until this October I have always brought my Infinity M35 to the dealer for any service or oil change even after the extended warranty expired. Decided to give John's a try for an oil change and other service as John's is closer to my home. I was pleasently surprised by the personal attention provided by Dave Carr, and the great service/repairs which equalled or exceeded my former experiences with the dealer, and at a lower cost. John's is my new destination for any and all auto service.
