John's Automotive personnel are always professional and courteous. The maintenance on our fleet of vehicles is very thorough. The after hours key drop is a great option that you don't find at other automotive repairs shops. I highly recommend them for your fleet or your personal vehicle.

John and his crew are completely awesome! They're always pleasant, honest, and fair. In fact, they've been more than accommodating to me in my many car "adventures." They're always happy to explain what's going on with my car, what the most important issues are, which issues can be postponed, etc. They've even driven me home when my car was at their shop. The shop's front office is very clean, efficient, and welcoming, and I always feel comfortable there. This might seem like a small thing, but I've felt intimidated in some other shops. Car issues are hugely stressful for me, and John's crew always makes me feel like I've come to the right place. I hate dealing with any automotive shop. I always feel because I'm a woman and drive a Mercedes someone is always trying to confuse me and rip me off. I came to John's Automotive Care based on a good recommendation but I have to admit I was still skeptical because of my past experiences. This review comes after a handful of visits. These guys are the best! Their customer service is outstanding and their recommendations are sincere. I called to schedule an overdue oil change a week ago, fully expecting them to suggest other maintenance work . After the assessment, they determined there are several areas to be addressed (not surprising to me) so Justin and I talked about the priority of what needed to be attended to first (that day), second and third to manage/spread out the cost. I was quoted a price for the oil change + new spark plugs (and other parts for it). Later, when the work was finished and I arrived to pick up my car, my final charge was $70.00 less than what was quoted earlier. Some of the parts that were supposed to be changed out were still in good shape so it was determined that they didn't need to be replaced, saving me some money. This experience is indicative to how it is every time I bring my car in; if the work requires less than what they quoted you, they're good about adjusting the cost for parts/labor not required (yes, in your favor). The quality of work on any service completed on my car meets or exceeds my expectations. I've been bringing my car to John's Automotive for all the maintenance and repair work on my car since I moved to S.D. in 2012. (I was referred to them by my fiance.) They are honest, competent, customer service driven and very professional...all the time. I highly recommend John's Automotive to anyone looking for top notch qualified mechanics/technicians to care for their car and an overall staff who are both personable and happy to explain all services (in layman's terms).
