Started my day driving to work by having the red engine oil light turn on! Not good and I panicked. I checked the dipstick and it was dry OMG! I was already at work and was brainstorming on how to get some oil to add to my car. I remember seeing John's Automotive while driving numerous times on the way to Kaiser Vandever. I decided to give them a call and Dave was as nice as can be. He was kind enough to send in Jeff with two quarts of oil to help me get out of this bind! He even told me to just drive up after my work shift so they can check for any leaks and I can pay for the oil then. Talk about service! I really appreciate how professional and kind these gentlemen were! Real lifesavers! If you guys need anything done with your car- go with John's Automotive - honest and highly recommended! When you move to a new city, as I have from Chicago, there are 3-4 main things you need to find. A doctor, coffee shop, hair stylist, and mechanic. When I checked reviews, the one thing that stood out the most was how many women had written a review talking about their positive experience. This, as a male, was a good sign of the integrity of this place. I am always pissed at how women are treated at the mechanics. The repair I needed (complete a/c replacement) was an labor intensive project and initially was a quoted as a one day deal. Well, it took almost three. But, I am not upset about that at all. They notified me as soon as they discovered problems, never talked down to me and presented the information without any high pressure sales tactic. I got a great job done, at a fair price that I am confident about. I'll be using them as my permanent mechanic. Oh, they also have coffee too. That's two checked off the list.
