The team at John’s Automotive completed a smog check on my vehicle, which is an older (2005) Hyundai. They said it might take extra time, but they completed it quickly. They also gave me a ride home and picked me up when it was ready. Everyone was friendly and personable— and paid attention to covering high-touch surfaces in my car while working, as well as disinfecting those surfaces before I re-entered my car. Physical distancing and face masks were in place everywhere I looked. They even added a pleasant outdoor space for waiting, if one wanted to wait.

Quick alignment and car drove nicely once finished. Will go back again.

I have been taking my Nissan Murano there for three plus years now; primarily for annual safety inspections. I've been pleased when they do find things that need repair that they've taken the time to fully explain the issues they discover. They also have an understanding of working on a limited budget. Of the times I've taken my car there, I've been able to count on their expertise and recommendations on what needs to be fixed now, as opposed to what can wait. It's been refreshing to find an auto shop with mechanics and staff that I can put my trust in.

Great customer service. Knowledgeable and they dont try to take advantage of you. They take VERY good care of vehicles by covering any surface they may touch inside. Which covid aside is extremely important to me and says a lot about them. I cant tell you how many times I have used other shops and picked my cars up with grease and oil on my seat or steering wheel or worse.

2021 I am very grateful to have found a mechanic I can trust. My old car needs more work than is worth it, including a replacement catalytic converter. There was ZERO pressure to do expensive repairs. And they offer a detailed check of the next used car I'll consider buying, for a very reasonable price. I recommend them to anyone I know who needs a mechanic. GREAT shop. 2020 They are competent, friendly, and offer the best documentation and evaluation of the state of your car of any mechanic I have ever been to, including photographs which they include in a report which you can take with you or they will email to you.

I highly recommend John’s for smog. They are professional, use all necessary PPE’s and are super efficient.
