John's Auto Care is by far the best in San Diego. They're fast, reliable, and they do great work. My car knowledge is limited and I always worry that mechanics take advantage of that or try to up-sell unnecessary things. I know I can trust these guys to give me their honest opinion on what my vehicle needs. 100% would recommend John Automotive Care to everyone!! It was a long day without answers or correct information. I wish I didn't have to have an 8 am appointment if my car didn't get worked on till noon. Next time I would like more accurate estimates for how long it will take and not have to arrive four hours before my car is serviced. Thank you.

Excellent service and assistance in keeping my car on the road. Have local shuttle service so can wait at home for repair. They go the extra mile to make you feel taken care of. Tell me which repairs are most urgent and which I can wait till next pay check. Been customer for over 10 years and always pleased.

After 10 years of going to the same mechanic he retired and I panicked! Who could I trust? Gave John's a try based on some excellent yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Justin took great care of me- was prompt with service, explained everything to me in detail (without making me fee silly for asking), and didn't push me into making any costly decisions. These guys always get to it fast and positive..............

I'm really impressed with the quality of service and efficiency when I brought my car over. Michael made me feel welcome and never once tried to up-sell me on things I didn't need unlike the Volkswagen dealership. I'm happy with the service that was provided and he answered all of my questions. Over the top service and I definitely will be coming back again for future service appointments.
