Came in last weekend for an oil change 2004 Jetta TDI. I usually change my own, but recently moved to the area. The staff were super friendly, and they were ok with me bringing my own oil. However, I checked the oil level the next day (photo) and they overfilled it by about 1 liter. Their system said it needed 4.5L, but I told two techs I've only ever put 3.5L in. Regardless, they should have checked the oil level before completing the service.

Hey Daniel, Thank you for talking with us today when we called you. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience. We have talked with everyone about how we could have handled that better, so we won't make the same mistake again. Hopefully we will see you next time you need some service work done on your Jetta. We understand that when you move to a new area it can be difficult finding a good shop. So hopefully you will give us the opportunity to show you just how good our service can be.

Wanted this place to check one thing and how much would it cost to fix this one thing. They did a entire diagnosis of my car and charged me over a hundred bucks. I was not told about the diagnosis they were going to do or agreed to it. I only wanted to know what it cost to fix one little thing and it was crazy expensive to fix it so I did no work at all on the car and paid over 100$ for nothing but a diagnosis on a car that I already new has issues.

Matt, Thank you for talking with us when we gave you a call to talk about your concerns. I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit to our shop. As we talked about on the phone, before we started looking at your BMW we explained what we needed to do in order to inspect the problem and how much it would cost for that inspection as we would normally do. At that point you signed an estimate for $139 to inspect what was going on with your door that would not open with either of the door handles. At that time, we also explained that we would do a thorough inspection of the vehicle so you would be able to make a good decision on what to do with the vehicle in case there were other problems that you may not have known about. There was no charge for the inspection of the rest of a vehicle as we do this to make sure that you are well educated on the condition of our vehicle. We found that the only way to verify why the door would not open was to try and get the inside door panel off while the door is stuck closed. Normally a door panel is not that hard to remove but when you can't open the door it becomes quite difficult. My technician did a great job of getting the panel off even though there was very little room between the door and the seat. We were able to test the components that open the door which are controlled electronically and had stopped working. At this point we were not able to get the door open, but we were able to put the door panel back on once you said that you did not want to go forward with any repairs. Not only did we not charge you extra for the additional time that it took but in the end we charged you $27 less than what you had agreed to pay for that service before we started. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
