The first auto shop I've been to that I didn't feel like I was being ripped off or tricked into services I didn't need. The staff is very friendly and professional and Justin was great in explaining everything my car needed and what were essential and what was recommended. I highly recommend this family auto shop and will be coming back again, stay away from the chains that are only interested in your money and tricking you into services you don't actually need.

While everyone at John's was friendly and professional,services were performed in the time quoted, facilities were orderly and clean, I must report with some hesitation. I booked my appointment with John's after being assured that John's was very familiar with the Land Rover brand, as i was traveling from Ventura, CA to San Diego, via Amtrak, to have a "Pre-purchase Inspection" performed on an 06 Land Rover LR3. Other than a couple of minor issues, the Inspection Report and the Technician suggested that the LR3 was in great running condition. I have scheduled an appointment with a Land Rover repair facility to have ( 2 ) concerns addressed. There is a very obvious clunking sound when decelerating and slapping into gear after deceleration and from a stop. I am hopeful that what ever it is is minor. More, after my visit to the Land Rover Shop.

James and the John's Automotive team were on-top of everything. It's great that they give you pictures and descriptions on "Okay" "Suggest Further Action" and "Requires Immediate Attention". Made fixes over the weekend and I had my car back by early afternoon on Monday.

I can’t say enough good things about Johns Automotive. They smog tested my car recently. They are organized, respect time schedules, do excellent work AND have the BEST facility for Covid 19 of any place I have been recently. Thank you to Johns!
