San Diego Auto Repair

This is my second post per only my second visit to Johns Automotive. I consider this a follow up or continuing review. Because the level of service each visit has been exceptional, with no drop off between the visits & I fully intend to continue onward with John's Automotive.

Great service as well as customer service.

David Carr was off the charts! Very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Not only all of that, but he did the work faster and (significantly) less expensive than the first estimate we got. Highly recommend him and John’s Automotive

This was my first time at Johns Automotive and I'm so impressed with their hospitality along with the work done on my truck. I never questioned how much I was being charged because I knew what the mechanic had to do. Neil also gave me a great discount and was so impressed with the total when I picked it up. My wife had mentioned their place to me several times because she had dropped off several clients she drove for and they all said 10/10 in all the services they received starting with greeting you at the door, you feel like part of their family, and they all had been going there for many years. My truck feels and runs like it's brand new again and I'm grateful we found a honest place to take our vehicles to from this time forward. My wife plans to hand his cards out only because she knows how it feels to be taken advantage of just being s woman bringing.a car in and having to pay for services that weren't provided or didn't need to be done. Ladies feel free to bring your car to John's Automotive you will not be disappointed at all I promise you that much. Their is still a few great places that are honest all the way. Great all around service and communication

John’s Automotive has become my go-to place for auto service and repair. They have repeatedly saved me money by (1) advising me if a recall for my leaking AC condenser for my Accord; (2) getting warranty repair for early failure of half-axles on my wife’s Odyssey. Very honest, great at diagnosis, don’t try to oversell. Highly recommended!

I like how the mechanics give me detailed information regarding what my car needs and the pricing. I like the service John’s provides and I feel they are honest and don’t try to rip you off by stating you need additional services that you really don’t. I highly recommend this business.

I was very happy that Johns did DMV Smog checks. They’re a great bunch of guys and the check was done in a timely manner. Plus their walking distance from my home.
